little bit about CustomChrome by Peter Robinson For more than 12 years now, I have provided a service to meet the needs of the restoration enthusiast. By this I mean catering for all those little jobs that the larger specialist companies won't entertain. 1987 saw the introduction of my chrome plating and custom engraving service primarily aimed at the motor cycle and scooter enthusiast. Over the years my work has been seen on some of the best show winning machines ever seen on the show circuit. My personal passion has been with scooters, and it is therefore not surprising that some of my very best work has been found on these machines. My links with scootering have developed over the years and I now provide a full restoration service including engine re-builds and paintwork to complement my chrome plating and engraving work. Most of the national, and many international dealers are now using my services. Engraving, however, is where my talents are especially appreciated. Having established my name with scooters and motorcycles I am now concentrating on customising guitar scratch plates. Original plastic scratch plates are boring and plain, but with some imagination and artistic license I can create quite a spectacular result!
